Before the death of my father on November 2006 in a private hospital here in abidjan he secretly called me on his bed side and told me that he has the sum of Seven million,five hundred thousand United State Dollars ($US7.5M) left in fixed / suspense account in one of the prime bank here in Abidjan,that he used my name as his only daughter for the next of Kin in depositing of the fund. He also explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was poisoned by his business associates. That due to the incessant political crisis(Yeah it's called civil unrest due to the criminal element of your country, I have a feeling you are well acquainted with this element.) in this country and to avoid been kill by his enemies I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose such as real estate or hotel management.(AKA, I'm looking for a sucker, can I count on you?)
Please, I am honourably(Right) seeking your assistance in the following ways:
(1) To provide a bank account into which this money would be transferred to.
(2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since I am still a small girl
(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education and also to secure a resident permit in your country.Moreover, I am willing to offer you 15% of the total sum as compensation for your effort/ input after the successful transfer of this fund into your nominated account overseas.Furthermore, Pls indicate your options towards assisting me as I believe that this transaction would be conclude within seven (7) days you signify your interest to assist me. I think someone needs to explain a few things to this scammer.

Okay, I am sure we are all familiar with this type of email. I did get a good chuckle because of the blatant inconcistancies. If anyone falls for this scam because of this email maybe they shouldn't be allowed near a computer. My commentary is in bold.

Below is an email I received "Paypal" it's an obvious scam but I know there are people out there who will still click on the link thinking their account is in trouble. Funny thing about this, the email it was sent to isn't associated with a Paypal account. Makes me wonder where these scammers get their information from or if they just have a list of emails to try their scams on. The headers are on for those who like to investigate. Link has been disabled, if you do a properties check on the link you can see it's not paypal. It's the security-message.sytes.net part of the URL that makes it suspecious.

Monster email job seeker tool download Phishing SCAM!

This has been reported and Monster does address it. They have a security notice on their front page regarding this scam. The links of course have been disabled but are shown. Please use your better judgement and don't use the links reported in this scam. Yes the email has more graphics to it however, I don't want to put them here. If you get an email like this, it's a phishing scam.
