Achieve Card committing fraud?

Achieve Card committing fraud?

AchieveCard - Better Business Bureau rating C-. Achieve Card originally operated as a DBA of Find Your Customers, Inc. July 2010 the principals of Find Your Customers, Inc established a new corporation Achieve Financial Services DBA Achieve Card. Alternate business name, Achieve Financial Services, LLC

The company spells their name two different way for business correspondence it is Achieve Card for advertising purposes it's AchieveCard, from here on out the advertisement spelling AchieveCard will be used.

AchieveCard is a very young company with a very bad problem: How they obtain financial information of perspective customers and how they contact these perspective customers. According to Natasha who works for AchieveCard, AchieveCard has thousands of financial partners but will not disclose the names of those partners. Anyone who has ever had a dealing with one of their thousands of financial partners is eligible for an AchieveCard account.

AchieveCard makes sure you know it by sending you a debit card in your name. Even if you never agreed to open an account with AchieveCard, you heard right. AchieveCard sends out unsolicited debit cards, complete with name and card number on it, letting you know an AchieveCard account has been set up with in your name with your sensitive information - without your written consent.

What does this mean for potential fraud? How about if they send out an unsolicited card in your name to the wrong address? Do you hope the person who opens up the mail does the right thing and shreds the card and does not try to activate it? How about sending the card to an old address where a not-so-law-abiding family member, ex, or neighbor lives?

AchieveCard sending out unsolicited debit cards can be an Identity Theft nightmare. As well as a big legal hassle for Achievecard, setting up a financial account in someone's name without their written consent is illegal.

If you have been a victim of AchieveCard's illegal attempt to establish a financial account in your name, turn them into the FTC and contact a lawyer.
